About Harmattan
Harmattan, by SIL International, is a sans-serif font inspired by the Warsh style, tailored for Arabic scripts in West Africa. It features simplified Arabic glyphs with essential lam-alef ligatures. Introduced in 2020, it now includes four weights and supports Unicode 15.0, including Kyrgyz. Released under the SIL Open Font License, it balances functionality with cultural nuance.
